About the role

HTBA is seeking a proactive Purchasing Specialist to join its Procurement team in Barcelona. Working in a hybrid model, you will coordinate orders with suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure smooth import and logistics processes. This newly created position offers the opportunity to shape a high‑impact role with clear growth prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Procurement department by managing direct purchases of raw materials and CMOs.
• Create purchase orders, track deliveries, and handle related accounting documentation.
• Coordinate import procedures with customs and logistics teams.
• Request quotes, negotiate terms, and register new suppliers while keeping supplier data up to date.
• Monitor delivery schedules and pricing, reviewing and approving invoices as needed.
• Identify efficiency and cost‑saving opportunities and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Degree in Administration, Finance, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Procurement or Supply Chain, preferably in an international corporate environment.
• Knowledge of the full purchasing cycle: RFQ, negotiation, PO, delivery, invoicing.
• Familiarity with import processes and documentation.
• Understanding of logistics coordination.
