PWP Installation Design Engineer Internship

About the role
Join Airbus for an 11‑month, full‑time internship in the PWP Installation Design area, based in Getafe, Spain. You will work within a multidisciplinary team developing design solutions for PWP structures on EuroDrone and other aircraft platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Create and modify designs using Digital Mock‑up and CAD tools (Catia V5/3DX).
- Provide technical solutions to support aircraft building, testing, and delivery.
- Specify mechanical components for purchasing and generate documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Interface with external partners and suppliers to ensure design compliance.
- Acquire practical design knowledge applied to real aircraft platforms.
Required profile
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Industrial Mechanics.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- General knowledge of aeronautical component design.
