QA Lead – Remote (Spain)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to join a fully remote team that creates high‑quality gaming experiences for a global audience. Based in Spain, you will oversee both development and publishing QA functions, ensuring testing processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with ambitious production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of internal QA teams, planning and executing testing activities in line with project priorities.
• Allocate resources, delegate tasks, and adapt testing efforts to shifting development schedules while maintaining high standards.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, introduce best practices, and mentor team members.
• Act as the primary liaison between QA, development, publishing, and other cross‑functional teams, translating milestones into clear testing objectives.
• Provide transparent, data‑driven reporting on build stability, testing progress, product quality, and release readiness.
• Coordinate external QA vendors and outsourcing partners to ensure consistent testing quality and seamless integration of feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in the video‑game industry, covering both development and publishing.
• At least 2 years in a QA leadership role with proven team‑management and mentoring abilities.
• Strong understanding of modern software testing methodologies and structured QA processes.
• Experience collaborating with external QA vendors or outsourcing partners.
• Passion for video games, especially Action RPG or Souls‑like genres.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Jira.
• Advanced proficiency with Confluence or similar test‑management platforms.
