QA Operations Specialist – Plasma & Raw Materials

About the role

Grifols is seeking a QA Operations Specialist to oversee the acceptance and surveillance of plasma and non‑plasma raw materials. The role ensures that all materials meet legal, regulatory and customer specifications, supporting the company’s mission to improve global healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the surveillance process for plasma units, handling post‑donation alerts, meeting deadlines, analysing root causes and informing technical management.
• Evaluate supplier documentation and cold‑chain integrity for plasma shipments, verify inspection results and decide on material usage.
• Manage discrepancies and deviations with suppliers, establishing guidelines for quality‑focused purchasing.
• Prepare periodic risk and performance reports, conduct data analysis and maintain accurate filing.
• Coordinate workflows for plasma fractions to ensure timely availability and support release investigations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of plasma‑derived product regulations and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in handling raw‑material acceptance, supplier documentation review and cold‑chain monitoring.
• Ability to analyse data, identify risks and produce clear reports.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage alerts, deviations and cross‑functional coordination.
