Receptionist – Hotel Albahía

About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is looking for a Receptionist to join the Hotel Albahía team in Alicante. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all front‑desk tasks, including check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide personal and telephone customer service throughout the guest stay.
• Perform concierge duties and handle luggage storage (consigna).
• Review reservations and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct night‑audit operations.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourist quality.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service and quality assurance within the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards relevant to hospitality.
