Receptionist – Hotel Front Desk (Murcia, Spain)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Receptionist to join the front‑desk team at the Occidental Hotel Murcia Algaría. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, welcoming guests and processing departures.
• Provide in‑person and telephone customer service throughout the stay.
• Perform concierge duties, including luggage handling and guest requests.
• Review and confirm reservations, handle modifications and cancellations.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum two years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations).
• Experience using CRM systems for guest management.
• Knowledge of ISO standards applicable to hospitality operations.
