Regional Compliance Intern

About the role

Join the Europe and Middle East (EME) Regional Compliance Team at Zurich Insurance in Barcelona. As a Compliance Intern you will support the team in overseeing business units, contributing to regulatory projects and gaining hands‑on experience in risk assessment and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the EME Regional Compliance Team in overseeing different Business Units.
• Collaborate on projects such as implementation of new regulations across EME countries and review existing frameworks.
• Assist in the development and deployment of innovative solutions to be scaled regionally and globally.
• Participate in risk assessment processes, including quality assessment of local assessments and risk analysis.
• Contribute to quarterly reporting, data analysis and report writing, using AI‑driven tools.

Required profile

• Active student at a Spanish university, enrolled in a Business, Risk Management or Legal degree (Master’s level preferred).
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Interest in insurance, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Available for at least a 6‑month part‑time internship (up to 30 hours per week).
