Regional Director for Spain and Italy

About the role

The Regional Director will lead our insurance claims business across Spain and Italy, aligning local operations with the company’s global strategy. Based in Madrid, you will represent the firm to insurers, brokers and corporate clients while driving growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans to achieve revenue, gross profit and working‑capital targets.
• Act as the primary client‑facing representative in both markets, expanding market share through business development and account management.
• Oversee complex claims handling, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with local regulations and global policies.
• Maintain internal financial and operational controls, implement audit recommendations and manage risk mitigation measures.
• Lead business continuity and disaster‑recovery planning for the region.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and significant claim issues, escalating where necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, business administration or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in loss adjusting or claims management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in Spanish and/or Italian.
• Willingness to reside in Madrid and travel throughout Spain, Italy and internationally.
