Remote CATT Tester - Calypso Back Office

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for a CATT Tester to support an international bank on a Calypso BCM project. The role is fully remote and involves creating, running and maintaining automated test cases in CATT for Calypso Back Office modules within an existing Calypso production instance.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain and execute automated test cases in CATT for Calypso Back Office modules (settlements, confirmations, accounting, SWIFT messaging)
• Run regression test suites during Calypso upgrades, patches and change deployments
• Analyse test results, identify failures and report defects with clear reproduction steps
• Work with Calypso BO analysts to turn functional requirements into test scenarios
• Maintain the CATT test library so tests stay aligned with the current BO configuration
• Take part in SIT and UAT cycles and document test plans, test cases, execution reports and defect summaries
• Support test data preparation (trade creation, reference data, SDI configuration) and help review CATT results
• Escalate complex failures to senior team members and track their resolution

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, IT, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Basic understanding of capital markets products (bonds, FX, interest rate swaps) and trade lifecycle concepts
• Basic understanding of Back Office processes: settlements, confirmations, accounting entries, SWIFT messaging
• Good written and spoken English; willingness to learn Calypso and CATT on the job

Required skills

• Familiarity with software testing concepts: test cases, test plans, regression testing, defect lifecycle
• Ability to write and read basic SQL queries for test data verification
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Nice to have: Calypso platform exposure, CATT or other automated testing tools (Selenium, UFT), SWIFT message types, test management tools (Jira, TestRail, HP ALM), Python or Shell scripting, Agile/Scrum, ISTQB Foundation Level
