Restaurant Manager – La Nucía

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead the daily operations of the restaurant and bar at Barceló La Nucía, ensuring high standards of service, hygiene and guest satisfaction. You will coordinate staff, manage inventory and support the overall hospitality experience within a 4‑ and 5‑star hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning, preparation of equipment, utensils and service areas.
• Set up and clear tables, ensuring proper mise en place.
• Oversee sector heads and waitstaff, monitoring performance and compliance.
• Maintain personal hygiene standards and restaurant cleanliness.
• Welcome guests, escort them to tables and take orders when needed.
• Promote high‑margin dishes and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct inventory checks of furniture, crockery, linen and equipment.
• Prepare purchase proposals and place orders as directed.
• Schedule shifts, manage staff onboarding and departures.
• Handle billing, cash reconciliation and revenue liquidation.
• Report quality or presentation issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Formal education: Medium or higher level hospitality/restaurant degree or tourism degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar managerial position.
• High level of English; other languages are a plus.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to lead and develop teams.
