Restaurant Supervisor (2· Maître)

About the role

The Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a Restaurant Supervisor (2· Maître) to lead its food and beverage department. The role combines hands-on leadership with a focus on guest service, cost control and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the food and beverage department, delivering the guest experience to the highest standard
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest enquiries
• Deliver plans and objectives so that food and beverage initiatives and hotel targets are met
• Supervise the food and beverage team and foster a culture of growth, development and performance
• Control costs and inventory and ensure productivity and performance levels are attained
• Build effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
• Lead departmental programmes that advance service standards, profitability and cost control
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, with due diligence, best practice and documentation for internal and external audits, including follow-up

Required profile

• Experience in food and beverage service
• Strong supervisory and managerial skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and a passion for hospitality
• Problem-solving ability and personal integrity
• Ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy

Required skills

• Experience working with IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills
