RF AIT Engineer – Relocation to Valencia, Spain

About the role

We are seeking an experienced RF AIT Engineer to join a fast‑growing international space technology company in Valencia. The role focuses on hands‑on assembly, integration and testing of advanced Earth‑observation satellite platforms, supporting both RF payloads and subsystem integration.

Key responsibilities

• Execute satellite assembly, integration and testing (AIT) activities on‑site.
• Support RF payload and subsystem integration while ensuring manufacturability, testability and configuration consistency.
• Participate in production‑readiness and design reviews to smooth the transition from design to manufacturing.
• Perform system‑level verification and validation, including functional, RF and environmental testing.
• Run RF test campaigns using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot integration and test anomalies, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and production teams to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Develop and improve integration procedures, test plans, RF test procedures and technical documentation.
• Support industrialisation and production ramp‑up initiatives.
• Mentor technicians and junior engineers and coordinate with international AIT teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems or Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong engineering foundation with expertise in at least one domain (mechanical, electronics, RF or software).
• Good understanding of RF systems, satellite communications, antennas or signal‑chain architectures.
• Solid grasp of complex system architectures and subsystem interactions.
• Experience in high‑reliability sectors such as space, aerospace, defence or telecommunications.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in development, integration, testing or product validation.
