Sales Backoffice Administration

About the role

The Sales Backoffice Administration specialist acts as the final gatekeeper for customer orders within the Order to Delivery (OTD) team across Europe. Reporting to local management and guided by headquarters, you will ensure orders are accurate, compliant, and ready for delivery, contributing to operational excellence and a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify customer orders and amendments, checking commercial aspects such as solvency, discrepancies, deadlines and delivery conditions.
• Collaborate with service providers on claims processing, coordinate repair payments with retailers, manage billing with insurance companies and provide payment documentation to stakeholders.
• Verify transport invoices, act as the first point of contact for A2A transport topics and manage tickets related to cancellations or damages.
• Perform final quality and compliance checks before orders move to production, monitor processes, maintain audit documentation and ensure all documents meet Mercedes‑Benz and legal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, commercial apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in back‑office, order, logistics or damage processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
