Sales Engineer - Barcelona

About the role

Cato Networks, a converged network and security cloud provider, is looking for a Sales Engineer to support its field sales force in Spain. The role drives and manages the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, acting as the key technical advisor and product advocate alongside the sales team. It suits someone who builds relationships and explains technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical validation of Cato Networks solutions to prospects
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations
• Present the product to customers and at field events such as conferences and seminars
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs
• Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
• Travel throughout the sales territory

Required profile

• 4+ years of pre-sales or consulting experience with network and/or cloud security products in a customer-facing role
• Proven track record in software sales
• Strong presentation skills and written communication in emails, RFPs and reports
• Organised, analytical, creative and adaptive approach
