Sales Executive – Hotel Revenue & Events

About the role

The Sales Executive will join the team at Nobu Hotel Barcelona to drive revenue across all hotel streams, focusing on the Transient segment. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly and yearly sales targets while building strong relationships with local and international decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned Transient accounts, develop new business opportunities and increase market share.
• Set and review monthly objectives with the Sales Manager.
• Organise and prioritise meetings with existing and prospective clients.
• Implement national sales programmes and create field sales action plans.
• Research and generate sales leads through telesales, visits, databases and trade shows.
• Analyse productivity figures, adjust pricing and monitor competition.
• Maintain client records using Delphi/Opera systems and produce weekly/monthly activity reports.
• Upsell and cross‑sell hotel services, including meeting spaces, F&B, corporate groups and events.
• Prepare quotations, contracts and proposals via standard contracts or the Lanyon portal.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and trade fairs.

Required profile

• Degree in hospitality or business (preferred).
• 1‑2 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Barcelona market across corporate, social and leisure segments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Delphi/Opera property management system.
• Experience using the Lanyon portal for contracts and proposals.
