SAP Authorizations Specialist – Barcelona

About the role

cbsconsulting is looking for an experienced SAP Authorizations Specialist to join its Barcelona team. You will work on implementation projects for leading manufacturers, pharma, life‑science, chemical and automotive companies, ensuring secure and efficient user access across SAP landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design and harmonise existing role and authorisation concepts within project teams.
• Provide problem‑solving support for user access provisioning activities.
• Analyse and troubleshoot authorisation issues and access incidents.
• Document current authorisation concepts and maintain up‑to‑date role libraries.
• Support role testing during implementation phases.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of SAP authorisations administration experience.
• Proven experience creating, modifying and maintaining SAP authorisation roles following best‑practice security standards.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting user provisioning and permission errors.
• Advanced knowledge in at least one SAP module.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary, internationally coordinated teams.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
