SAP Basis Client Delivery Manager

About the role

HCLTech is seeking a SAP Basis Client Delivery Manager to lead and grow client relationships for SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS). The role acts as the client’s voice within SAP, overseeing service delivery, escalation handling, and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the SAP ECS client relationship, serving as the primary escalation point.
• Manage end‑to‑end service delivery, coordinating SAP Services, Product Support, partners and customer integrators.
• Drive cloud transformation initiatives, promoting S/4HANA adoption and cloud standardisation.
• Identify and broker upsell opportunities in collaboration with SAP sales teams.
• Ensure commercial success by avoiding service credits and pursuing improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the full engagement lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding, including governance, reporting and risk mitigation.
• Support SAP sales during pre‑sales phases with field expertise.
• Spend up to 20 % of time onsite at the client location.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing SAP client engagements and service delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to align services with client digital transformation strategies.
