SAP S/4HANA Finance Project Leader (d/f/m)

About the role

Airbus is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Finance Project Leader (d/f/m) to join its Digital Department in Getafe, Spain. You will play a core part of the Finance Transformation journey, leading projects that improve efficiency and drive innovation across the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, implementation and execution of SAP Financials, focusing on General Ledger, Central Finance and related modules.
• Gather and translate business requirements from internal stakeholders into clear project specifications.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables, create detailed plans and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Configure, test and support go‑live activities for SAP S/4HANA Finance, Logistics, Sales and Central Finance components.
• Identify, analyse and resolve production issues, implementing preventive measures.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resources and risk mitigation, reporting progress to senior leadership.
• Act as Local Proximity Manager for Spain’s ERP CoE, coordinating local ERP initiatives, safety, wellbeing and HR processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Financials solutions and successful implementations.
• Strong project‑management expertise in SAP Finance, with proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; French or German is a plus.
• Proactive, results‑oriented team player with a “can‑do” attitude.
