Saving & Investing Strategy Lead – Growth

About the role

Openbank is seeking a Saving & Investing Strategy Lead based in Madrid, Spain. The role sits within the Customer Strategy team of the Growth organization and is responsible for shaping the bank’s savings and investment strategy to grow customer balances and long‑term loyalty. You will combine customer insights, market dynamics and business analysis to influence strategic decisions and drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Openbank’s savings strategy, identifying opportunities through customer insights, market dynamics and competitive analysis.
• Design differentiated initiatives to grow customer balances, profitability and engagement while strengthening long‑term loyalty.
• Analyse the end‑to‑end savings journey and identify commercial, digital and communication levers to improve engagement and value.
• Monitor product performance and market evolution, generating insights to support strategic decision‑making and proactively identify risks.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives, coordinating Product, Marketing, Data, Operations and Technology teams to ensure successful execution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, growth or commercial strategy within banking, financial services or digital businesses.
• Proven ability to define growth or commercial strategies based on data and business insights.
• Experience analysing business performance, customer behaviour and commercial KPIs to support strategic decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English (C1).
