Second Chef – Kitchen Deputy Manager

About the role

Barceló is looking for a motivated Second Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality culinary service at its Almería property. You will help drive sales, manage costs and ensure a seamless kitchen operation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and substitute the Head Chef in daily kitchen management.
• Achieve departmental sales targets through promotional actions.
• Organise and coordinate all kitchen services.
• Control costs by efficiently managing resources.
• Lead, train and motivate kitchen staff.
• Maintain service quality to meet guest expectations.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• HACCP certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and kitchen equipment.
