Security Officer – Temporary Contract

About the role

The Security Officer will support the Head of Airbus Helicopters Security in defining, implementing and controlling site security procedures. This temporary position ensures compliance with Airbus Helicopters security policies, local legislation and contractual requirements while promoting a strong security culture across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager in developing and maintaining site security operating procedures.
• Review and update security laws, policies, directives, and standards.
• Prepare security directives, procedures, instructions and related reports.
• Analyse security clauses before contract signing and advise on subcontractor security requirements.
• Manage photo‑subject permits and review photographic material.
• Support training and awareness programmes related to security contracts.
• Deploy and communicate the Airbus Helicopters security awareness programme to employees.
• Lead travel security management, applying risk‑management principles and fostering a travel‑security culture.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent (Engineering preferred).
• Fluent English.
• Strong autonomy, discretion and rigor in applying standards.
• Excellent communication and quick decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, with flexible hours and full travel availability.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and capable of anticipating risks.
