Segundo/a Jefe/a de Restaurante – Hotel Cabo de Gata

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Cabo de Gata is looking for a second restaurant manager to lead the food and beverage operations. You will ensure service quality, drive sales, and manage costs while supporting a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control defined processes for service development.
• Achieve departmental sales targets and revenue through promotional actions and team training.
• Organise and coordinate all restaurant and bar services.
• Control costs by efficiently managing available resources.
• Lead staffing activities, including training, motivation and skill development.
• Maintain service quality in line with guest expectations, following the Maitre’s instructions.

Required profile

• Higher‑level hospitality or tourism qualification (e.g., Superior Hospitality Cycle, Tourism degree, HACCP training).
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
• High level of English; a second language is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge.
• Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office).
• Understanding of kitchen equipment, products and utensils.
