Senior Accountant and Tax Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant and Tax Advisor with a high level of English to join our team on‑site in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The successful candidate will manage full‑cycle accounting for both national and international clients, ensuring accurate records, tax compliance, and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations and balance‑sheet analysis.
• Prepare, review and submit corporate tax returns and VAT filings for diverse client portfolios.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and produce periodic financial statements.
• Maintain direct communication with clients and international stakeholders, providing advisory support on accounting and tax matters.
• Monitor deadlines, tax obligations and regulatory requirements, coordinating with legal and payroll departments as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Solid knowledge of accounting and administrative processes.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in a tax advisory firm, consultancy or professional services environment.
• Availability to work on‑site in Tenerife.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with the A3 accounting software.
