Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Madrid. The role is full‑time and hybrid, combining office collaboration with remote work. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting in a fast‑moving streaming technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS or local GAAP, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with local and international finance teams, external auditors and other stakeholders.
• Support tax filings, statutory reporting and provide financial analysis for business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Strong experience in core accounting functions, month‑end/year‑end close and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS or local GAAP and tax regulations.
• Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities.
