Senior Accountant

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accountancy team in Madrid. The role will support the Spanish legal entities as well as the Brussels Headquarters, ensuring accurate balance‑sheet reporting and close collaboration with Group Controlling.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes in line with internal policies, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Review journal entries, perform account and balance‑sheet reconciliations, and prepare financial statements.
• Supervise an external BPO provider for transactional accounting activities.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations across Europe, Africa and Asia, resolving differences promptly.
• Manage fixed‑assets accounting for both Madrid and Brussels entities, including additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation and reconciliations.
• Support external tax providers and ensure corporate tax compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial reports and annual accounts for Spanish entities and the Brussels HQ.
• Coordinate audit activities, providing required documentation to internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
