Senior Associate, Payroll Delivery (Sweden)

About the role

Strada is hiring a Senior Associate for its Payroll Delivery function, supporting the team that executes payroll activities and/or data management and customer service activities so that output is accurate and on time. The role is fully remote from Spain or hybrid in Granada, and covers payroll and/or customer service depending on needs.

Key responsibilities

• Process payroll end to end according to the agreed calendar and KPIs, and carry out data management or customer service work independently.
• Support statutory and year-end reporting.
• Advise clients on queries using knowledge of country-specific legislation.
• Mentor apprentices and associates, run knowledge transfer sessions and maintain DWIs.
• Respond to tickets and calls within SLA, support system maintenance testing and liaise with third parties.
• Ensure SOC controls are completed on time, support root cause analysis and report defects accurately.
• Follow Strada security standards, complete time recording accurately and update stakeholders promptly.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in Swedish payroll administration in an HR outsourcing, payroll services or corporate environment.
• Good understanding of Swedish payroll legislation, tax regulations, social security requirements and statutory reporting.
• Experience processing payroll data (hires, terminations, absences, benefits, adjustments) and supporting statutory and year-end reporting.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken; a Swedish BankID is a plus.
• Current and future work authorization in the country of application, without visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Preferred: HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP or PeopleSoft.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
