Senior Business Analyst (IWMS)

About the role

JLL is hiring a Senior Business Analyst (IWMS) to work with its global Fortune 500 customers to improve real estate and facilities management operations through technology and process improvement. The role leads and supports Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) projects, mentors junior Business Analysts and acts as a strategic advisor to client REFM leadership. It is listed as remote, based in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise between customer REFM stakeholders, the JLL project team and the IWMS vendor, and take part in planning sessions on behalf of the customer.
• Manage the requirements process: collecting, defining, documenting, mocking up and approving requirements, and create as-is and to-be process documentation, operating procedures, KPIs, reporting objectives, data templates and management plans.
• Drive design and review of test cases, process change requests and scope, and train end users on IWMS functionality.
• Run data queries to identify data issues, run data queries to identify data issues and propose solutions, and educate the client on industry best practices.
• Lead multiple concurrent IWMS projects and workstreams, coordinating across teams and vendors to deliver on time and on budget.
• Mentor and upskill junior Business Analysts, assign and monitor their work, validate their deliverables and resolve stakeholder conflicts.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to client REFM leadership, helping shape the technology roadmap and process-improvement priorities.

Required profile

• BS or BA in a related discipline or related experience.
• 7-8 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, including leading project teams and mentoring junior staff.
• 5+ years leading requirements analysis, documentation and management across multiple concurrent projects.
• Experience leading project teams using formal PM processes such as PMI, Six Sigma, Agile or Lean.

Required skills

• Implementation and deployment experience with ARCHIBUS or a similar IWMS application; preferred: TRIRIGA or other IWMS software.
• Conceptual to working knowledge of AutoCAD and document management.
• Conceptual to working knowledge of facilities, real estate and asset management.
• Conceptual to working knowledge of Crystal Reports, Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
• Preferred: ability to manage projects and deliver project-specific outputs.
