Senior Business Process Expert - Business Banking (BUBA)

About the role

ING is looking for a Senior Business Process Expert to join its COO Products team and help shape the future of Business Banking (BUBA). You will define, deliver and continuously improve customer journeys, operational processes and capabilities that let Business Banking customers interact with ING simply, efficiently and in compliance. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting with Business, Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and continuously improve Business Banking customer journeys and operational processes.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and work with development teams throughout delivery.
• Support solution design, testing and implementation, and take an end-to-end view of processes to simplify, optimize and automate.
• Use data and insights to identify trends, measure performance and support decisions.
• Design and monitor operational and customer-centric KPIs.
• Prioritize improvement opportunities and ensure products, services and processes meet policy, regulatory and risk standards.
• Contribute to the team's transformation agenda and drive innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transformation, process improvement, customer journey design, product delivery or complex projects.
• Analytical mindset, data-driven approach and strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across teams and influence without hierarchical authority.
• Experience in Agile organizations; experience in banking, operations or Business Banking is highly valued.

Required skills

• Knowledge of reporting and analytical tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Excel or similar) is a plus.
• Technical understanding sufficient to collaborate with engineering teams is desirable.
