Senior Consultant, Compliance (Life Science)

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Senior Consultant in Compliance based in Madrid. The consultant works mainly on teams led by Engagement Managers and Principals, under supervision, and has a largely client-facing role, often acting as the day-to-day client contact. The position covers compliance consulting, commercial operations, fair market value, transparency and aggregate spend, and auditing and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead consulting projects, including special and internal projects assigned on an as-needed basis.
• Lead clients in business workshops and interviews.
• Develop project deliverables such as data analyses and reports, process reviews, policies and SOPs.
• Develop, articulate and present ideas and opinions, and manage and take accountability for projects.
• Oversee deliverables, timelines and ongoing project execution, and review the quality of all staff deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and build relationships with clients to identify future opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 4-6 years of strategic management consulting or legal experience, preferably with a Big 4, strategy consulting, specialized healthcare consulting or law firm.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience; MBA, a law degree (JD or equivalent) or another master's degree preferred.
• Successful track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and compliance and risk management is a strong plus.
• Willingness to travel; the role is not open to visa sponsorship.
