Senior DevOps Engineer - European Client Projects

About the role

Blue Code Alicante is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support its opportunities across Europe, for both existing and new clients. The company provides DevOps services to software and SaaS companies covering cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, reliability, monitoring and observability. Assignments may be freelance from 10 to 30 hours per week or full-time employment, fully remote or hybrid from the Alicante offices.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes environments
• Automate infrastructure and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues
• Work directly with development teams and technical stakeholders

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of DevOps, cloud or infrastructure experience
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Good Linux knowledge
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership
• Minimum B2 English

Required skills

• Strong Terraform experience
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD
• Nice to have: monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana or Prometheus, and scripting with Bash or Python
• Nice to have: relevant AWS, Azure, Kubernetes or Terraform certification
