Senior Electromechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electromechanical Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment and industrial facilities in the Valencian Community. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to maintain equipment reliability.
• Conduct routine inspections to detect wear, defects, and potential failures before they affect operations.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare‑part usage, and corrective actions in a CMMS.
• Monitor inventory and manage the use of spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance work and minimise operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and company maintenance standards, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of industrial machinery.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects by identifying opportunities to optimise maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate or advanced) in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electromechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably food industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Required skills

• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.
• Industrial automation expertise.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
