Senior Frontend Engineer - Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to own and design the experiences of our group travel and events platform. You will lead the design of a complex, multi‑sided product that integrates with the broader Perk travel and spend ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end development of the group travel and events product, shaping how companies book providers and coordinate attendees.
• Act as the design lead, ensuring a cohesive experience across the product and the wider Perk platform.
• Define product direction by refining what to build and why, contributing to quarterly goals and long‑term vision with product and engineering managers.
• Architect future‑proof solutions, write design documents, and manage technical debt to maintain high technical quality.
• Communicate complex ideas across squads, drive cross‑team alignment, and contribute to engineering guilds and solution discovery.
• Mentor and coach less‑experienced engineers, raise the overall engineering bar, and support engineering managers in technical growth planning.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools to accelerate development and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to integrate travel and spend features.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer with a strong focus on problem definition, product vision, and architectural design.
• Proven ability to lead across boundaries, influence multiple teams, and drive alignment on technical decisions.
• Experience mentoring colleagues and raising engineering standards through design reviews and pairing.
• Based within commuting distance of Barcelona and comfortable with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite per week).
