Senior PLC Programmer

The Senior PLC Programmer will install and program automated and robotized lines, mainly welding or assembly lines for car manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs according to project requirements.
• Load programs in the PLC onsite and assist in installation and commissioning.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and regular maintenance of PLC systems.
• Collaborate with robot programmers, engineers, and technicians to develop automation solutions.
• Prepare documentation, training manuals, and provide technical support.
• Lead a team of programmers and ensure optimal system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation RS Logix & RS Studio and Siemens TIA Portal.
• Familiarity with industrial automation standards and protocols like EtherNet/IP.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Methodical problem‑solving, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Intermediate or conversational English and willingness to travel.
