About the role

Oliver James is seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its Technology & IT Recruitment team in Madrid. The role focuses on building and nurturing relationships across the Spanish and broader European technology markets, driving both permanent and contract placements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, from business development to offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Identify, win, and develop new business opportunities within the Technology & IT sector.
• Build long‑term relationships with both clients and candidates.
• Source and place high‑calibre technology professionals across contract and permanent markets.
• Become a recognised specialist in a chosen technology market.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Oliver James’ international network to maximise opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in 360 recruitment, including business development.
• Previous recruitment experience within the Technology/IT sector.
• Strong commercial awareness and a professional approach.
• Ambitious, resilient and driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluent Spanish.
