Senior Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Prima is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join its fast‑growing Infrastructure team. You will work alongside more than 350 engineers to design, build and operate reliable, scalable systems that support the company’s expansion in the UK and Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor SLOs/SLIs for production services.
• Develop automation to reduce toil, improve MTTR and support incident response.
• Lead blameless post‑incident reviews and translate findings into code and tooling.
• Analyse performance, cost and capacity, providing data‑driven recommendations.
• Implement security best practices, including vulnerability remediation and threat mitigation.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with SRE practices in a production environment.
• Strong background in cloud engineering, especially AWS, Kubernetes and networking.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Experience mentoring teammates, leading incident response and communicating with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as insurance, banking or healthcare is a plus.
