Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (Angular & .NET)

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at BASF Coatings, you will create and maintain high‑performance web applications that support our automotive and industrial coating businesses. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into robust digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular (v12+) and .NET Core.
• Design scalable system architectures and micro‑frontend solutions.
• Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork across global locations.

Required skills

• Angular (v12+) and TypeScript.
• .NET Core, C#.
• REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Design patterns (SOLID, DDD, DRY).
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS.
