Senior Specialist Digitalization – Digital Plant

About the role

As a Senior Specialist in Digitalization for the Digital Plant team, you will drive the implementation of digital technologies in chemical production facilities. You will create and maintain a digital twin of a real plant, enabling advanced use cases such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the creation of a digital twin by generating validated 2D and 3D data following standardized procedures.
• Implement digital tools, workflows and roles across the plant organization and with service providers.
• Guide plant users on digital methods throughout the asset lifecycle to reduce cost and lead time while improving quality.
• Provide change‑management support, training and coaching on new digital processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in planning, construction or operation of chemical plants.
• Proven experience with digital tools and data‑driven engineering projects.
• Strong project management and coordination abilities, preferably in international and agile environments.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work in multicultural virtual teams.
