Senior Strategic Finance Manager - Product

About the role

As the primary finance partner to the Product organization, you will embed yourself in product planning cycles, translate experiment outcomes into revenue impact, and provide the financial conviction needed for strategic decisions. You will lead the financial narrative for product initiatives, reporting to the CPO, COO, and CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product finance and act as the senior finance voice in product planning forums.
• Maintain and stress‑test the financial model and forecasts for core product areas under various investment scenarios.
• Define and measure product ROI, turning experiment lift and cohort data into validated, annualised revenue impact.
• Manage the full product investment portfolio and lead the product workstream in the annual operating plan and long‑range plan.
• Build financial theses and models for high‑uncertainty bets such as non‑language subjects and AI‑assisted learning.
• Partner with product leadership to create clear, action‑oriented executive reports for the CPO and CFO.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis of how product changes affect CAC, LTV, and retention.

Required profile

• 8+ years in product analytics, product finance, or a closely related FP&A role.
• Experience in a high‑growth B2C or marketplace business.
• Deep expertise in product impact measurement, experiment analysis, lift quantification and cohort analysis.
• Proven ability to build financial frameworks in ambiguous, data‑limited environments.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including building models from scratch for early‑stage initiatives.
• Demonstrated success using AI tools to generate insights and efficiencies.
• Exceptional executive‑level communication and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable using Looker (or similar) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
