Senior Tax Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax functions within our renewable energy business. The role combines strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory responsibilities in a fast‑growing multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage external tax advisors and coordinate with finance and other departments.
• Review tax‑related accounting entries and support M&A tax due diligence.
• Lead tax claim processes and structure simplification initiatives.
• Oversee periodic tax filings (WHT, VAT, electricity taxation, CIT, informative returns) and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor local tax regulations, handle tax audits, and maintain communication with tax authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of tax experience, including 3‑5 years in a leadership role within the energy sector.
• Background in external tax advisory services and transaction tax work.
• Proven experience handling tax inspections, CIT and VAT compliance, and tax group structures.
