Senior UX Researcher

About the role

As a Senior UX Researcher at Zurich Technology Delivery Center, you will shape the experience of internal users such as underwriters and claims handlers. You will lead research from discovery through usability testing and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on strategic initiatives to improve internal user experiences across Zurich.
• Lead end‑to‑end research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing and synthesis.
• Partner with product owners, designers, engineers and architects to embed user insights throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support the design and validation of AI‑enabled experiences, conversational interfaces and intelligent workflows.
• Manage multiple research projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and impact.
• Explore new research methods, tools and technologies to continuously improve user understanding.

Required profile

• Significant experience conducting UX research on digital products, enterprise platforms or complex user journeys.
• Proficiency with a wide range of research methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, workshops and concept validation.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills to influence product and business decisions.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous environments, balance stakeholder priorities and connect insights to business goals.
• Experience managing research activities across several projects and facilitating workshops.

Required skills

• Figma for prototyping and design collaboration.
• Experience with AI‑enabled experiences and conversational AI.
• Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and automation.
