Senior Web Engineer

About the role

Santander’s Chief Data & Artificial Intelligence Officer division is building a world‑class AI & Data team. We are looking for a Senior Web Engineer to design and deliver advanced web solutions using React and TypeScript within the Grupo Santander platform ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production‑grade web applications and reusable npm packages/SDKs for the Santander platform.
• Apply solid software architecture and CI/CD practices to ensure quality, maintainability and scalability.
• Work on product SDKs such as AI chatbot React components that sit on top of the shared web platform.
• Integrate with platform building blocks and adhere to accessibility standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of dedicated frontend development experience with React.
• Proven experience delivering libraries or SDKs as products.
• Hands‑on experience meeting accessibility requirements.
• Experience limited to pure web development; hybrid/mobile wrappers are not considered.
