SEO Digital Marketing Intern

About the role

As an SEO & Content Intern at Exoticca, you will support the daily execution of our SEO strategy, helping travel‑focused content rank higher in search results while delivering real value to travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with keyword research and the creation of SEO content briefs.
• Monitor backlinks, clean up toxic links, and help maintain a healthy link profile.
• Track competitor content, identify gaps, and suggest new opportunities.
• Work with the content team to optimise existing pages and support the production of new content.
• Audit site structure, internal linking and metadata to recommend improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with SEO trends and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Current student in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• Strong interest in SEO, digital content and online marketing.
• Attention to detail, curiosity and analytical thinking.
• Excellent written English; Spanish is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console.
