Shadow Teacher for Inclusive Support

About the role

The International College Spain seeks a compassionate Shadow Teacher to provide one‑to‑one support for a student with diverse learning needs. Working within an IB‑focused, multicultural environment, you will help the learner access the curriculum, participate fully in school life, and develop academic, social and emotional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with classroom teachers, learning support specialists and families to tailor support strategies.
• Assist the student in accessing lessons, assignments and classroom activities.
• Promote independence, confidence and wellbeing through individualized guidance.
• Monitor progress and communicate observations to the teaching team.
• Adapt support approaches as the student’s needs evolve.
