Site Manager - Industrial & Manufacturing Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced and highly organised Site Manager to support the delivery of large-scale manufacturing projects. The role is central to coordinating site operations, infrastructure readiness and project execution during pre-construction and construction, working in a fast-paced environment with clients, project managers, technical teams and contractors to keep safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives on track.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering civil construction packages, including structural works, roofing and façade systems for a unique industrial facility.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of mechanical, electrical and civil infrastructure works.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, risks and resource requirements, and proactively mitigate issues.
• Drive cost and schedule control while maintaining project performance targets.
• Coordinate closely with project leadership, technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates and performance metrics using Microsoft Office tools.
• Contribute to process improvements and use digital and AI-enabled solutions for planning and reporting where appropriate.

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5 years' experience in construction or project management; industrial construction experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of site operations, contractor management and project controls.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Spanish; availability for on-site work.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in digital tools and AI-driven project management is an advantage.
