Software Builder

About the role

A-SAFE Digital is looking for a Software Builder to join its AI‑native engineering team in Malaga. You will work with Claude Code and other AI agents to deliver production‑ready features for a global manufacturing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Orchestrate AI coding agents (Claude Code) across parallel branches to produce high‑quality software.
• Own features from written specification through merged, tested, and deployed pull requests.
• Write precise, testable specs that guide AI agents and serve as delivery contracts.
• Critically review code from yourself, teammates, and agents, ensuring correctness beyond mere execution.
• Make architectural, data‑model, and integration decisions with strong engineering judgement.
• Maintain production health using tests, CI gates, observability, and clear ownership.
• Collaborate in small pods with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Daily, practical experience using AI agents to build software and clear opinions on their strengths and limits.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to reason about systems.
• Discipline in turning vague goals into precise specs and catching subtle bugs.
• Ownership mindset, preferring end‑to‑end responsibility over fragmented tasks.
• Comfort with both backend and frontend development.
• Experience with production engineering practices (tests, CI, PR‑first workflows, observability, deployment ownership).
• Collaborative approach suited to fast‑feedback, small‑team environments.
