Software Developer – Mission Planning Solutions

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Software Developer to join the Mission Support Systems team in Getafe, Madrid. You will work on Mission Planning solutions for programmes such as the A330 MRTT, C295 aircraft and various UAVs, covering the full lifecycle from requirements to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the definition and implementation of complex, multi‑national mission planning systems.
• Design and develop software components using the .NET platform.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on documentation, system analysis, V&V, quality and safety processes.

Required profile

• Computer Science Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• High adaptability, proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
