Software Engineer – C# .NET

About the role

TransPerfect is looking for a Software Engineer to join its global TechOps team. You will work on the design, development, and maintenance of high‑quality software products that support both web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and security compliance.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code and APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers, front‑end developers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and implement fixes and optimisations for scalability and security.
• Apply security best practices to protect sensitive data.
• Develop and support automation tests, working with automation engineers for regression testing.
• Provide personalized software support to users and document operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, LINQ, MS SQL, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with version control (Git), SOLID principles, and clean‑code practices.
• Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid debugging skills and experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in SQL Server database development.
