Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our partner's team in Spain. You will work on the full software development lifecycle, creating reliable, scalable backend solutions and APIs that support business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain backend applications and services.
• Build and improve internal and external APIs with a focus on quality and usability.
• Participate in test‑driven, iterative development, including prototyping, code reviews and performance testing.
• Write unit and performance tests to ensure stability and scalability.
• Debug, optimise and refactor code to maintain high‑quality standards.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams and flowcharts for knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with other developers to continuously improve engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar development role.
• Experience developing server‑side web applications using Java.
• Passion for building reliable software and learning new technologies.
