Software Engineer

About the role

Join Qorvo’s R&D software team in Barcelona as a Software Engineer. You will create user‑friendly, integrated tools that improve design methodologies, speed up result visualization, and automate key processes for our semiconductor solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software programs that meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Conduct thorough testing, evaluation, and debugging to guarantee high‑quality releases.
• Deploy software tools, processes, and metrics, providing ongoing support to internal customers.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code throughout the full software lifecycle.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous learning.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Python programming (experience with PyCharm IDE).
• Object‑Oriented Design, design patterns, and strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• SCRUM/Agile development methodology.
• Git version control.
• Docker and containerization.
• Unit testing practices.
• Database familiarity (MySQL, Oracle or equivalent).
• Batch/Shell scripting.
• Qt or similar UI development.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (optional but preferred).
