Sourcing Manager – Diagnostics Procurement

About the role

Roche is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join its Global Diagnostics Procurement team in Sant Cugat, Spain. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end tactical procurement of hardware, sensor technologies and core chemical components that enable next‑generation diagnostic innovations. The role combines strategic sourcing with day‑to‑day execution to deliver cost savings and ensure reliable global supply.

Key responsibilities

• Execute global sourcing activities using standard processes such as RfIs, RfQs and RfPs.
• Conduct market benchmarking for existing products and new product introductions (NPI).
• Aggregate and analyse global demand to maximise leverage and identify value‑driving opportunities.
• Escalate non‑standard requests to Category Management and support demand planning.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (Category, Delivery, Accounts Payable, RSS Demand to Pay) to clear supply bottlenecks.
• Manage operational relationships with a diverse external supplier base.
• Maintain master data and continuously optimise sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in a technical or diagnostic environment.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate supplier offers and market data.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to work with global cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to drive cost‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
